Gustavus does not require students to bring their own computers to campus, however, many choose to bring one. If you are unsure about purchasing a computer, we suggest that you spend some time on campus before making a decision.

What do I do if I need a computer for class, but don't own one?

If you are in need of a computer for a short period of time such as for a class, the library contains a computer lab that is available for all to use. Computer labs are also scattered about the buildings, so your major could have a computer lab that would be open for you to use.

 

Am I able to borrow a laptop from GTS?

GTS has a loaner laptop program, allowing you to loan a laptop from GTS for up to a semester at a time, free of charge.
