Add GusPrint Printers to an Employee Computer (Windows)

Problem

I would like to add GusPrint to my Gustavus-owned Windows computer.

 

Environment

The article applies to employees with Gustavus-owned Windows machines.

 

Resolution

GusPrint and GusPrint-Color are automatically installed on all Gustavus-owned employee machines.

 

If you don't see it:

  1. Navigate to the windows search bar.
  2. Paste one of the following commands:
    • For HP printers, use \\marco-hp.gustie.gac.edu
    • For all other printers, use \\marco.gustie.gac.edu
  3. Press Enter.
  4. You may need to enter your Gustavus username and password, if you are not using your employee issue office computer, or you are not logged in as your Gustavus account on the computer.
  5. Double-click on the printer you want installed.

 

Cause

GusPrint is pushed to all GTS-managed machines, but it is possible that a certain printer was not installed during setup such as an HP printer.
