Problem

I would like to change my alternate email address on file. I no longer have access to the account on file.

Environment

The article applies to Gustavus staff, faculty, and students.

Resolution

1. Navigate to https://gustavus.edu/account/contact and log in with your Gustavus credentials 

2. In the Username & Password area, update the email address listed under Alternate e-mail.

3. Scroll down and click Submit.

Cause

If users need to reset their Gustavus User Account password, they can do so independently by having a password reset link sent to the alternate email address on file.
