The MacOS Software Center gives the employee the ability to install verified Gustavus-owned software on their machine without needing an appointment with GTS.

Where can I find Software Center?
You can find Software Center by either clicking the Gustavus icon in your dock, or by clicking on Spotlight (the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner) and typing in Software Center.
How do I use Software Center?
- Search or browse Software Center for the application/printer you would like to install, and click install
- To run any updates on the programs installed through Software Center, please click Notifications, and click Update to install the updates
Who can access Software Center?
Anyone with a Gustavus-owned Mac that is up to date with their management profile.
Is it free?
Yes, the applications are free to download; however, some applications listed in Software Center may require a paid subscription to use.
How do I request software to be added to Software Center?
You can send a request to helpline@gustavus.edu.
