I would like to change the battery settings on my Apple computer

Resolution

Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen and select "System Preferences" from the drop-down menu.

Click on "Battery" in the System Preferences window.

Adjust the battery settings according to your preferences. You can change the following settings:

Usage History: This shows you the current battery level and whether your Mac is currently charging.

Power adapter: Here, you can choose whether to optimize your Mac's battery life or performance when it's connected to a power adapter.

Battery: This section allows you to adjust various settings that affect your Mac's battery life, including the brightness of your display and the amount of time your Mac waits before it goes to sleep when idle.

Schedule: This section allows you to set when your Mac goes to sleep and when the display turns off, which can help conserve battery life. Once you set a schedule, be sure to click apply.
Cause
Energy settings may be changed to optimize battery life or performance.
