Problem
I need to mirror my computer display to an external device.
Environment
The article applies to Windows computers running Windows 10 or 11 .
Resolution

Connect your computer to the external display you want to use.

Click on the Windows Start button, and then click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear).

Click on "System" and then "Display" in the Windows Settings window.

Under the "Multiple displays" section, click on the "Connect to a wireless display" option.

Select the second display from the list of available displays and then click "Connect".

Once connected, select "Extend these displays" from the Multiple displays drop-down menu to mirror the primary display on the second display.

- Windows Key + P
- Select Duplicate
- Press ESC to exit menu
Cause
Windows computers can automatically detect external displays, but must be programmed to use the display.
