Problem
In Self Service, I get the error: "Login failed: The login credentials you provided were incorrect".
Environment
The article applies to Gustavus community members with a current Gustavus Account.
Resolution
- Go to the Self Service webpage (selfservice.gustavus.edu/)
- At the blue and black login screen, enter your username in all lowercase letters
- Continue the login process with Google
- If it prompts you for a password on the blue and black login screen, please contact the Technology Helpline
Cause
The login for Self Service is case sensitive.
