Step 1: Add the new Perusall link to your course.
- In your Moodle course, enter edit mode
- Select Add an activity or resource
- Click All
- Select Perusall 1.3 Connection
- Select Content and under the words Home Page, click Link to home page
- Click Save and Return to Course
- Click on the Perusall Activity in your Moodle page to create your Perusall course.
- Note: the first time you use Perusall, you will have to verify your email address. Students too.
Step 2: Copy content from the old Perusall to the new.
- Once you create your course in step 1, on the Get Started page, select Copy existing Course
- Select the course you want to copy from the drop down menu
- You can then decide what to select:
- Adjust assignment deadlines
- Copy instructor comments
- Copy rubrics
- Copy scoring templates
- Copy course settings
- Click Continue
Step 3: Update all Perusall links in Moodle (only needed if you have more than one link to Perusall in your course)
- Now that the course is copied over, you will have to re-create any assignments using the new Perusall 1.3 connection
- Select Add an activity or resource
- Click All
- Select Perusall 1.3 Connection
- Select Content and under the word
- Give the assignment a name
- Click Save and Return to Course
- Test Perusall link in Moodle.
Please note - all completed grades may not move over. Take a screen shot of the grades and manually enter them into Moodle.
