Changing Gustavus Account Password

Problem

I want to change my Gustavus account password.

 

Environment

The article applies to all Gustavus accounts.

 

Resolution

  1. Navigate to MyGustavus at my.gustavus.edu and sign in with your Gustavus credentials, if prompted
  2. Click the hamburger menu in the top left corner
  3. Click My Account
  4. Click Change Passphrase in the dropdown that appeared
  5. Type in your current password/passphrase in the first field for verification
  6. Type in your new desired password in the next two fields
  7. Click CHANGE PASSPHRASE

 

Cause

Changing a Gustavus user password has to be done through the Gustavus website.
