Projecting you computer to the TV in classrooms and meeting rooms on campus should be done through an HDMI cable. Most rooms have an HDMI cable with a USB-C to HDMI adapter. This combination will work with most laptop computers.

Compatibility
Compatible Computers
- All modern Gustavus issued Lenovo and Mac computers.
- All computers with either HDMI or USB-C ports.
- Devices such as DVD or Blue-ray players that have either HDMI or USB-C ports.
Not Compatible
- Any that does not have an HDMI or USB-C connection. Arrangements can be made for HDMI adapters that will convert to other form factors.
- Wireless projection and screen casting is possible with this model of TV, but is currently not recommended with our network.
Instructions for Use
Instructions for Use With Remote
- Power on TV with power button on remote.
- It not already at home screen, hit the home button.
- Plug HDMI cable and any necessary adapter into device.
- Choose the PC option on the home screen or just wait for the device to show full screen on the TV.
- If using sound it should play over the TV speakers. If it is not check your device settings and choose the Samsung TV as the audio output.
Instructions for Use Without Remote
If the remote control for the TV is not available, the TV can still be controlled with the single button at the bottom of the TV.
- Power on TV with power button on the bottom center of the TV under the Samsung logo.
- Plug HDMI cable and any necessary adapter into device.
- Wait for the image to show full screen on the TV.
- If it does not show full image, the TV can still be controlled by using the single button.
- Quickly press and release the button again and a menu will appear on the screen. Follow on screen instructions for volume and input control.
