Problem

I need to have a file securely shared with me.

Environment

The article applies to users with an active Gustavus account.

Resolution

1. Open your browser and navigate to secureshare.gac.edu. Click Gustavus User Login if prompted
2. At the top of the page, select File Requests
3. Select New File Request
4. Fill in the To, Subject, and Message fields
5. Click Request File
6. The recipient will receive an email containing the message you typed and a link that will allow them to upload to Secure Share

Cause

This feature allows you to send a message to anyone with a special link that will allow them to securely send back a file.
