Scanning Documents

Problem


How do I scan documents and have them digitally in my email or Google Drive?

 

Environment


The article applies to Gustavus students, faculty, and staff.

 

Resolution


  1. Tap your ID on the scanning location on the Konica Minolta
  2. Once logged into the printer/copier, click Scan
  3. Choose either Scan to Email or Scan to Google Drive
  4. Rename the file
  5. Click Start
  6. If you choose Scan to Google Drive, you will be emailed and asked to allow PaperCut to access your Google Drive. The subject will be Authorize Scans for PaperCut MF to save to your Google Drive
    • Once authorized, your scan will be located in a folder called Scans for PaperCut MF

 

Cause


Konica Minolta has options for scanning, printing, and copying. After allowing access, you will find your documents in your Google Drive, and you will receive an email with a link to find them.
