Problem
I want to copy a Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 Moodle course into my Fall 2025 course.
Environment
The article applies to Gustavus Moodle users.
Resolution
- Log into Moodle at https://moodle.gac.edu/
- Open your Fall 2025 semester course
- Click More in the upper right and select Course Reuse
- Select Import from the drop down
- Select your Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 course you would like to copy over and click Continue
- Recommended: If you want everything copied over, keep the default options selected and click Jump to final step.
- If you want to pick and choose what you want copied over, keep the default options selected and click Next. Go through the prompts selecting the items you want.
- If you prefer GTS complete this for you, please fill out this request form: https://gustavus.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/69/Portal/Requests/TicketRequests/NewForm?ID=Yc4KGnu-ugg_&RequestorType=ServiceOffering
Cause
If you are setting up a Moodle page for a current course that was previously offered, resources from the previous course page can be reused.
