Where do I access my department share?

Environment

The article applies to Gustavus faculty and staff with department shared files (not located in the Z-Drive or Google Drive) while on campus. 

Resolution

1. Open This PC
2. Open the Y: drive or type \\gustie.gac.edu\dept in the address bar and sign in with your Gustavus email and password to access your department share
3. Navigate to your Department folder ->\Share. All employees of your department can access and read files in this folder

Cause

When on campus, department shares such as these auto-mount for Windows users; however, they may have been disconnected.
